Pakistan's Foreign Office has confirmed the contacts between Army Chief General Bajwa and US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman on Friday. On the other hand, former Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that it was not the job of the Army Chief to contact the American authorities for the early release of IMF financial assistance.
