The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd on Friday stated that its optical fiber network is experiencing “technical faults” due to heavy rains and floods and assured subscribers work is underway to fix services.

“Due to heavy rains and floods, PTCL’s optical fiber network is experiencing some technical faults,” study a declaration posted on Twitter.
“As a result, PTCL customers in Northern and Central areas are dealing with internet outage,” the declaration said, including that teams are working to repair the offerings “on priority”.
Earlier, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) stated internet connectivity issues that have been reported by the PTCL have been precipitated by an “issue” in data networks between the South and North regions.
“As reported by PTCL, issue has been reported in data networks between South and North which is inflicting internet connectivity issues,” the PTA stated in a declaration on Twitter.
Without elaborating any similarly on the nature of the problem, PTA stated that the “issue” is being investigated.
The declaration delivered that the PTA is monitoring the situation and will preserve customers updated.
PTCL internet services are down all over the country,
