Imran Khan chairman PTI announced a change of venue in the party’s protest on Thursday urging supporters to gather in Islamabad’s F9 Park to demonstrate against the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja, instead of outside the body’s headquarters as previously announced.
“Today I am calling all our people to come out in peaceful public protest against CEC & ECP in F-9 Park at 6pm,” he Twitted.

The former Prime Minister also said he will be addressed the gathering between 7pm and 7:30pm.
Imran Khan had earlier asked our people to gather outside the ECP office to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja.
After the Party decided to change the protest venue, the district administration granted it permission to gather at F9 Park and Sector H9.
A day before, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the government will not grant permission to PTI supporters enter Red Zone and to protest against the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
Talking to the media along with Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Sanaullah said that in case of any misadventure from the PTI, strict action will be taken.
Interior Minister Rana also said staging a protest in a peaceful manner is everyone’s right.
