The transporters have endured their strike for a 2nd day against hike in taxes and obligations with the aid of the government.

In line with details, the transporters are protesting towards boom in charges of token tax, challan price, toll tax and ever-increasing petroleum price.

The protestors have threatened to retain the strike if taxes are not withdrawn without delay. Transport owners said that the authorities had expanded the tax from Rs300 to Rs4,000 and Rs8,000.
